The Stage webinar on ‘Enabling Omani SME Opportunities (In-Country Value) on JSRS’ was attended by the JSRS Community and other organizations across the globe.
Special thanks to the Oman Ministry of Energy and Minerals, Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (RIYADA), Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), Occidental of Oman (OXY) and Daleel Petroleum LLC for participating and presenting their views on Procurement opportunities in Oman and focusing on the SME/LCC Obligation opportunities available as part of the In-Country Value (ICV) initiative on the JSRS.
This webinar was organized by The Stage, an online Knowledge-Sharing Platform, driven by businessgateways.
Oman's Oil & Gas Industry In-Country Value (ICV) Initiative aims to develop Oman's Local Content. One of the key objectives of Oman's ICV is to allocate a share of 10% of the total spend, to eligible Omani SME/LCC Companies for Specific Contracts. Among a few, the main challenge faced by Main Contractors during the allocation of these 10% Obligation Contracts to Omani SMEs is Identification of Eligible Omani SMEs/LCCs for Contract Awards.
This 120-minute webinar showcased the JSRS-CMS, and the ICV-based Obligation Contract Opportunities of the JSRS Buyers Community (Oil & Gas Operators, Other Industry Buyers, EPCs and Main Contractors) made available to the JSRS Certified Omani SMEs/LCCs through the JSRS Contracts Management System (JSRS-CMS).
The Stage, driven by businessgateways, was pleased to present this Webinar for the benefit of Omani Companies, especially SMEs and LCCs, looking to acquire the JSRS Certificate to receive ICV-based Obligation Contract Opportunities from Operators, Buyers and Main Contractors through the JSRS-CMS.
