The Public Authority for Investment Promotion and Export Development (Paiped) has partnered with the Oman National Business Framework of Business Gateways to gain access to a rapidly expanding base of registered companies in the Sultanate.
As the Investment Sector Partner, Paiped will be able to offer Omani businesses local and foreign investment channels as well as independent expert advice on how to expand operations.
The Business Gateways National Business Framework is an online framework that connects a growing group of companies worldwide, bridging a gap that helps bring together new resource partners leverage the positioning of local products in the global market. Through this alliance, Paiped will be able to draw upon an expanding national database to communicate directly each time a business uses the framework to express interest in seeking investment.
The database will further allow Paiped to target companies in specific sectors, selecting relevant partners that meet their needs and communicate directly with both parties to facilitate a successful match.
His Highness Sayyid Faisal Al Said, Paiped's Director General for Marketing & Media said; "Business Gateways is a unique B2B platform that improves two-way communication between companies. The service will become a central resource for international companies to contact Omani businesses and forge partnerships. We can mentor businesses through the portal and assist their growth in sales and procurement departments to add value to the organisation. The portal's unique structure also provides detailed company profiles that will allow us to fully understand the requirements of each company and provide relevant opportunities that will make them more efficient and help them to grow.".
Hemant Murkoth, CEO of Business Gateways International, Oman, said; "Oman's business potential is expanding rapidly with great opportunities for local companies to participate in this progress. Business Gateways is considered an e-Mart for companies around the world to utilise e-auction tendering, recruitment, cloud computing and sales stimulation services, as well as business advisory options. Omani companies can look into professional local investments and also be the resource partners for foreign direct investment-seeking projects within the Sultanate."
As a key partner in Oman National Business Framework, Paiped will be able to encourage more businesses to showcase their capabilities on a larger stage and improve trade relations.
Using technology advanced services, Paiped aims to create a streamlined and sustainable investment promotion and export development protocol that drives innovation to increase Oman's private sector trade and investment environment.
