businessgateways is pleased to announce the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) with the Oman Chamber of Commerce & Industry (OCCI) to support Omani SMEs on the Joint Supplier Registration System (JSRS).
The MoC was signed on 30 November 2021, by businessgateways’ Chairman Sh. Mohamed Al Mamari and the Chairman of OCCI, His Excellency Redha Al Saleh.
The MoC marks a significant step for businessgateways & OCCI; with OCCI intending to connect their SMEs to the JSRS to explore business opportunities across Oman’s Oil & Gas and Other Sectors, while also providing multiple services to SMEs who are already part of the JSRS Certified Suppliers Network (JSRS CSN).
Based on this MoC, businessgateways will implement a special OCCI SME platform for Omani SMEs registered with OCCI on JSRS, integrate the OCCI SME Committee on JSRS and provide business-related support services exclusively to JSRS certified SMEs through the OCCI SME platform.
The OCCI recommends that all Omani SMEs register on JSRS and obtain the JSRS Certification to benefit from the upcoming services that will be offered on the OCCI SME Platform.
