On 20 November 2021, Mr S. Jai Shankar, Director and Sustainability Lead, Oil & Gas, Chemical and Energy Section, Malaysia External Trade Development (MATRADE), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia visited Business Gateways International (businessgateways), Sultanate of Oman, to discuss key subjects around building stronger business relationships between Malaysia & Oman, especially across the Renewable & Clean Energy. MATRADE and businessgateways have agreed to onboard select Malaysian Companies on the Joint Supplier Registration System (JSRS), while showcasing them to the JSRS Certified Suppliers Network (JSRS CSN) for B2B Engagements, through JSRS B2B Cloud Networking.

MATRADE sponsored the earlier mentioned Malaysian companies to register on JSRS and pursue their JSRS Certification. These select companies also earned an exclusive opportunity to engage in a special B2B Cloud Networking with JSRS Certified Companies, to explore the expansion of business into Oman.
The Malaysia - Oman JSRS B2B Cloud Networking Event, conducted on 7 December 2021, connected these Malaysian Companies to Oman’s JSRS Certified Suppliers Network (JSRS CSN), to help them explore technology, investment & other related business partnerships.
