Held at The Sheraton in Muscat, Oman, on 29 June 2022, the OER Live Conference was attended by some of the best digital brains in Oman. This award further exemplifies businessgateways’ continuous efforts in enabling Oman digitally, contributing to Oman’s Vision 2040.
The OER Live Conference 2022 saw a number of companies vying for unique awards, that symbolized various aspects of the digitization & digitalization era.
The message on www.ithca.om by His Highness Sayyid Kamil Al Said, Chairman of ITHCA Group, who was also the Chief Guest of Oman Live Conference 2022 says: “The Sultanate’s forward-looking economic development strategy (Vision 2040), in its wisdom, has rightfully identified the role that the ICT sector needs to play in securing sustainable national development and the modernization of the economy, creating the conditions for innovation and the fullest participation of all sectors”. This is precisely the message that Business Gateways supported totally, during the event in its 15-minute presentation by our CEO, Hemant Murkoth.
The crux of Hemant’s presentation projected that Oman’s IT Sector must join hands with the Government of Oman’s amazing vision 2040 strategies, through a PPP model, and deliver the IT enablement that the Sultanate needs to reach its ambitious goals detailed in OmanVision 2040.
