Omani Creatives to Exhibit at Dubai Mall

Muscat Twenty towcraft businesses from Oman will exhibit their products at Dubai Mall in the United Arab Emirates from 13 – 15 March.Organized by The Public Authority for Investment Promotion & Export Development(Ithraa) in partnership with the SME Authority, this important creative exhibition is valued by industry experts as one of the most important regional trade events for Oman’s craft sector. Exhibitors are aiming to expand into the UAE market and increase Omani exports of jewelry, silverware, as well as unique and contemporary cosmetics and fragrances. “There has been a significant growth in Oman’s gift and craft sector over the past few years and this increase clearly reflects the depth and creativity of the sector,” said Mrs Nasima Al Balushi, Ithraa’s Director General of Export Development. Ithraa’s Director General of Export Development went on to add: “Oman has high-calibre craft businessesand many of these will be exhibitingat the Dubai Mall event. With the support of Ithraa and the SME Authority, participating firms will have aninvaluable opportunity to exhibit their products in one of the most important consumer markets in the Gulf. We firmly believe there are significant opportunities for Omani craft businesses to break into new markets both at home and abroad, securing valuable orders and creating new jobs locally.
