BP Advances Gas Development in Trinidad and Tobago
BP Trinidad and Tobago (bpTT) is progressing its Ginger gas project, featuring four subsea wells tied to the Mahogany B platform. Drilling began in January 2025, with production expected in 2027, peaking at 62,000 boepd. bpTT is also evaluating the Frangipani discovery, which revealed multiple stacked gas reservoirs. These efforts align with bpTT’s strategy to optimize existing assets and boost Trinidad’s energy supply. Read More

JSRS Going Green Initiative Launched at OPES 2025
Business Gateways International (BGI), in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Minerals (MEM), launched the JSRS – Going Green Initiative at OPES 2025, held from 12 to 14 May 2025 at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre, Muscat.
The JSRS – Going Green Pavilion highlighted how environmental sustainability is being embedded into the supplier ecosystem. The initiative helped JSRS Certified Suppliers and aspiring companies understand their role in supporting the Energy sector’s green transformation and offered insights on gaining recognition for their sustainability efforts.
The collaborative spirit at OPES 2025 emphasized Oman’s commitment to green procurement and inspired suppliers to become active contributors to the country’s sustainable future.
