Welcoming new entrants on the JSRS

The Joint Supplier Registration System (JSRS) is quickly becoming a National Procurement Initiative in Oman, a primary sourcing base of Oman’s Oil & Gas and other major Industries’ procurement systems. With our community growing every month, we are shedding light on the new entrants who have recently joined JSRS.

JSRS Certified Supplier Network (JSRS CSN)

In December 2024, we welcomed over 100+ Certified Suppliers on JSRS from Oman and around the world. Congratulations to the companies who have recently joined the JSRS Certified Suppliers Network (JSRS CSN). Engage with JSRS CSN

Buyers Community

The JSRS Buyers Community is a highly reputed group of organisations consisting of all the Oil & Gas Operators, Other Industry Buyers, Contractors, EPCs across Oman. To date, we have 25 + Oil & Gas Operators and Other Industry Buyers. Explore the JSRS Buyers Community

Local Community Contractors

The ‘Local Community Contractor’ (LCC) Special Status is for Companies operating within the concession areas of certain Operators. LCCs who meet specific criteria, as defined by these Operators, are identified on the JSRS Certificate as ‘Special Status’ LCC. Companies with the LCC Special Status benefit from priority procurement opportunities from respective Operators.

Omani Suppliers who qualify to be Local Community Contractors (LCCs) can apply for the LCC Special Status in their JSRS Certificate. LCC Special Status approval on the Certificate is currently endorsed by Petroleum Development of Oman (PDO), CC Energy Development (CCED) and Occidental of Oman (OXY).

JSRS Identifies and Certifies the LCC Suppliers and facilitates them with a secured tendering system for the main Contractors to float their LCC Obligated Opportunities to credible LCC Suppliers. Operators are empowered with a JSRS-CMS, a monitoring system for the ICV spend within various Supplier Communities like LCCs and SMEs. Read More

Enabling ICV through SME / LCC Obligation Based Contract Opportunities

The JSRS Contracts Management System (JSRS-CMS), is a special initiative by the Oman Ministry of Energy and Minerals, to offer Equal Opportunities to Omani SMEs / LCCs, during the process of dispersing ICV based Obligation Contract Awards. The JSRS-CMS is a one-stop platform integrating Supplier Sourcing, Response, Award & Tracking of the entire Project’s / Contract’s Supply Chain. Read More about JSRS-CMS

GCC Open Tenders Service

In 2024, the JSRS CSN have received over 53,360+ of Open Tender notifications across all Sectors from the 6 GCC countries.

By subscribing now to GCC Open Tenders Service, Suppliers can stay tuned to happening business activities, search for the right opportunities and explore those that interest them, saving a lot of time while expanding business interests.

Certified Suppliers can login to JSRS to subscribe to GCC Open Tenders Service. Interested Suppliers are welcome to register on JSRS to avail ONE year complimentary access to ONE Tender Category (including all related sub-categories) in GCC Open Tenders Service.*

Oman Launches Oman Net Zero Center to Achieve 2050 Emissions Target

Oman has officially announced the establishment of the Oman Net Zero Center, a new initiative aimed at helping the Sultanate achieve its ambitious goal of reaching net-zero emissions by 2050. His Excellency Eng. Salim Nasser Al Aufi, Oman’s Minister of Energy and Minerals, made the announcement through Ministerial Decision No. (35-2024), which outlines the center’s key role in formulating strategies, overseeing energy efficiency projects, and providing technical support to both government and private sectors.
