Eni’s Plenitude Partners with Marelli to Develop Solar Energy Infrastructure in Italy

Plenitude, the renewables arm of Eni, has signed an agreement with Marelli to build three photovoltaic (PV) plants at its sites in Melfi, Sulmona, and Turin. With a combined capacity of 5.4 MWp, the initiative includes the creation of an Energy Community under Italy’s AID model, enabling shared clean energy use. The Melfi plant will also benefit from 20-year state incentives supporting local social initiatives. This collaboration supports Marelli’s shift toward sustainable operations while promoting community-based energy transition. Read More

Abraj Energy Secures Major BP Contract and Expands Footprint into Algeria with Sonatrach Deal

Abraj Energy Services has signed a significant three-year onshore drilling contract with BP Exploration (Epsilon) for operations at Oman’s Block 61, valued at approximately RO 14 million. The project will resume using a previously stacked rig and is expected to commence in Q4 2025, reaffirming Abraj’s long-term role in the sultanate’s upstream sector. In a strategic move beyond Oman, Abraj also signed a term sheet with Algeria’s state-owned Sonatrach to deliver integrated oilfield services across North Africa. This dual milestone marks a powerful step in Abraj’s regional expansion and its commitment to energy excellence. Read More
