OQEP Commissions Bisat-C Expansion Facilities in Oman
OQ Exploration & Production (OQEP) has successfully commissioned the Bisat-C expansion facilities in Block 60, significantly boosting its oil processing capacity. The project increases total capacity to 67,000 barrels per day, enhancing production efficiency and energy output.
This milestone reinforces OQEP’s commitment to advancing Oman’s upstream oil development and energy sustainability. Read More
Oman LNG and OQ Sign Agreement for Natural Gas Liquids
Oman LNG and OQ Refineries have signed a four-year Sale & Purchase Agreement for the supply of Natural Gas Liquids (NGLs) starting in 2026. The NGLs will be transported from Oman LNG’s Qalhat complex in Sur to OQ’s Sohar facilities for downstream processing.
This strategic partnership enhances in-country value creation and supports Oman’s Vision 2040 objectives. Read More

ICV Awareness Sessions - Salalah 2025 - October 26th
businessgateways successfully hosted the ICV Awareness Sessions – Salalah 2025, aimed at raising awareness, building capacity, and empowering In-Country Value (ICV) opportunities within Oman’s Oil & Gas and Industrial sectors.
The sessions featured focused discussions on JSRS and RABT — two key national platforms that play a pivotal role in enabling Oman’s ICV framework and promoting sustainable local business growth.

Qatar–Oman Trade Mission 2025 – A Successful B2B Engagement
Business Gateways International (BGI) participated in the Qatar–Oman Trade Mission 2025, an exclusive B2B matchmaking event organised by the Qatar Development Bank (QDB). The event was held on 21 October 2025 at the Kempinski Hotel Muscat, connecting JSRS Certified Omani Companies with Qatari businesses to explore collaboration opportunities.
The trade mission brought together key players from sectors such as Construction, Oil & Gas, Building Materials, and FMCG, fostering meaningful discussions and partnerships that aim to strengthen economic ties between Oman and Qatar.
