Phishing Awareness & Security Advisory

At JSRS (Joint Supplier Registration System), managed by Business Gateways International LLC (BGI), we prioritize the security and privacy of our Subscribers, Stakeholders, and Members. We strongly advise all Suppliers, Stakeholders, and Partners remain vigilant against phishing attacks—fraudulent attempts by cybercriminals to steal sensitive information by impersonating trusted entities.

How Phishing Works?

Phishing attempts often involve deceptive emails, websites, or messages designed to mislead Users into providing confidential details such as login credentials, financial information, or business data. Common phishing methods include:

  1. Fake Emails and Messages: Fraudsters may send emails pretending to be from JSRS, requesting Users to verify accounts or update sensitive details.
  2. Spoofed Websites: Malicious sites designed to resemble official JSRS pages to trick Users into entering their login credentials.
  3. Malware and Attachments: Cybercriminals may send harmful links or attachments that compromise security when accessed.

How to Identify Phishing Attempts

Be cautious of:

  1. Unsolicited emails asking for personal, financial, or business details
  2. Links or attachments from unverified senders.
  3. Poorly written emails with spelling mistakes or urgent demands for immediate action.
  4. Email addresses that do not match our official domain (@businessgateways.com).

How JSRS Ensures Your Security

JSRS and BGI will never request confidential information via unsolicited emails, messages, or phone calls. Our communications always originate from verified sources. If you receive a suspicious message claiming to be from JSRS:

  1. Do not reply or click on any links.
  2. Contact our official support team directly to verify the sender.
  3. Report phishing attempts to our security team at security@businessgateways.com.

Steps to Protect Yourself

  1. Use strong passwords and enable multi-factor authentication.
  2. Keep your security software and devices updated.
  3. Change your password once a Month.
  4. Verify website URLs before clicking and ensure they use HTTPS.
  5. Be cautious of any unexpected request for sensitive business information.
