Singaporean Consul General presents credentials

Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud al Busaidy, Secretary-General of the Foreign Ministry, received in his office on Wednesday Dr Edmund Chia Keng, who presented his credentials as a Consul-General of the Republic of Singapore to the Sultanate. Sayyid Badr welcomed the Consul-General, wishing him success in his new tour of duty and for the bilateral relations between the Sultanate and Singapore further progress and prosperity. Sayyid Badr also received in his office a copy of credentials of a number of non-resident ambassadors appointed to the Sultanate as follows:

James Monroe, Ambassador of the Republic of New Zealand. Oyvind Stokke, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway. Issa Mohammed al Kali, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Ole Moesby, Ambassador of Denmark. Sayyid Badr welcomed the ambassadors, wishing them success in their missions and the bilateral relations between the Sultanate and their countries continuous progress and growth for the benefit of the joint interests.
