The event will be organised by the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The was announced at a press conference attended by Saleh bin Hamad al Sharqi, director general of Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Dr Salim al Junaibi, deputy chairman, OCCI for Economic Affairs.
The exhibition aims to introduce high-quality Qatari products to the Omani market. Dr Junaibi urged businessmen to benefit from the exhibition which will see participation of 200 Qatari firms. The exhibition also aims to establish commercial partnerships between Oman and Qatar.
Meanwhile, Qais bin Mohammed al Yousuf, chairman of OCCI, met owners of companies participating in the International Products Exhibition and Conference (IPEC) to be held from October 8-10 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. The exhibition will host ten countries such as Oman, Azerbaijan, Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, Tunisia, Algeria, Kuwait, Morocco and Tajikistan. As many as 65 Omani companies will participate in this exhibition.
