Oman's Oil output rises to 29.7Mn barrels in September

Oman’s total crude oil production increased to 29.7mn barrels in September, representing a daily average production of 990,200 barrels, according to a monthly report issued by the Ministry of Oil and Gas.

Total exported quantities of Oman crude during September reached to 27.08mn barrels, with a daily average of 902,611 barrels.

The share of oil exports to China rose by ten per cent in September to 90.74 per cent compared to the previous month. Exports to Japan and India decreased by 4.19 per cent and 2.12 per cent, respectively.

Average price of Oman crude future contracts at the Dubai Mercantile Exchange rose 8.4 per cent in September compared to the previous month. Oil price for November delivery settled at US$78.72 per barrel, which was over six per cent higher compared to August price. The trading price ranged between US$75.26 per barrel and US$88.96 per barrel in September.
