Co-chaired by the Foreign ministers of both countries, this session is the first of its kind. Since its creation in 1995, the Morocco-Oman Joint Commission has been chaired by ministers of technical departments.
The Commission held its last session in December 2010 under the chairmanship of the minister of Employment and Training and his Omani counterpart.
This session, which will be attended by representatives of the sectors of both countries, will discuss ways to develop bilateral cooperation mainly in the economic and cultural fields.
It will also provide an opportunity to exchange views on regional and international issues of common interest.
