Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) will be presenting over 40 technical papers at this year’s Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC), the highest number of presentations from a single organisation. The presentations will cover a wide range of topics including exploration, health and safety and new technology, according to a press release.
Over 2,000 companies from 67 countries will be participating at the prestigious event, which is billed as the most influential event in the global oil and gas industry. ADIPEC, which kick-started on Monday, will continue until November 14 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
PDO will also run a booth at the four-day exhibition (located in Hall 4, stand number 4430) where representatives will be receiving visitors looking to learn more about the company. Visitors will also get the chance to attend presentations at the booth given by PDO specialists on topics such as the lean business improvement methodology, in-country value and vendor registration.
In addition, two PDO initiatives have been announced as finalists for the awards, which attracted over 600 submissions from more than 50 countries. The shortlisted entries are the company’s Diversity and Inclusion Programme, a finalist in the Oil and Gas Inclusion and Diversity Company of The Year category, and the Digital Transformation of PDO's Wells, Reservoirs and Facilities Management through the Nibras platform in the Digital Transformation Project of The Year section.
