Galfar Engineering & Contracting Company announced that it has been awarded a RO9.28mn worth of contract for operation and maintenance works by Sultan Qaboos University (SQU).
‘This is to inform our esteemed shareholders and investors that Galfar has been awarded the tender for electro-mechanical and civil operation and maintenance services at Sultan Qaboos University for a total value of RO9.28mn,’ the company said in a disclosure to the Muscat Securities Market on Wednesday.
The contract period is for a period of two years starting from January 1, 2020 until December 31, 2021. ‘We expect reasonable income from this project,’ Galfar said.
