For Oman, which has announced an important shift away from fossil fuels and into cleaner fuels, notably green hydrogen, the Summit will cap a year of momentous developments that promise to herald a carbon-free energy future for the country. A concrete roadmap complete with timelines for the crystallization of this sustainable energy future, powered predominantly by green hydrogen, will be unveiled during the Summit. Setting the tone for the Summit proceedings will be a keynote address by Eng Salim bin Nasser Al Aufi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Energy of Minerals. This will be followed by a series of sessions focusing on the following five themes: Oman’s National Strategy for Green Hydrogen; Oman’s Current Project Development; International partnerships and investment opportunities; Successful learnings from regional and international projects; and Latest trends and technological advancements. Given the immense importance of the Summit’s central theme to the future of the Omani economy, the event has garnered support from a wide array of prestigious organisations from Oman and abroad.
