The Joint Supplier Registration System (JSRS) is an In-Country Value (ICV) initiative of Oman Ministry of Oil & Gas and its Operators.
Since 2014, the JSRS Certificate issued by Oman Ministry of Oil & Gas and businessgateways is a mandatory requirement for companies to work in Oman’s Oil & Gas industry. The JSRS is a ‘single-window’ registration and certification process connecting companies to JSRS Buyers, for their procurement activities. The JSRS Buyers consist of Oman’s Oil & Gas Operators and Major Organizations across Other Industries.
Omani and International companies can register at www.businessgateways.com and submit their company documents for validation on the National Business Framework (NBF), which is the Tier 1 and the foundation layer of JSRS. Once validated on NBF, companies can connect with thousands of other companies for B2B activities. Upon successful completion of the validation at Tier 2, companies are issued the online JSRS Certificate. The JSRS Certificate connects companies to business opportunities of JSRS Buyers through Tenders and other RFXs.
Oman’s Procurement Platform
JSRS Buyers use JSRS Certified suppliers for their procurement activities. The Oil & Gas Industry of Oman and its O&G Operators have issued mandates to their suppliers directing them to be JSRS Certified, in order to receive business opportunities. Since 2017, the JSRS has expanded beyond the Oil & Gas industry to serve all industries.
