The JSRS RIYADA e-Marketplace was conceptualised and hosted at OGWA 2018 by businessgateways for the first time.

It showcased JSRS certified RIYADA (SME) companies for potential In-Country Value (ICV) project awards. The e-Marketplace was a resounding success with large participation from exhibitors, visitors, participants, and government organisations. The visitors gained a wealth of knowledge through B2B Meetings, Presentations & Discussions that were arranged by the dynamic businessgateways team.

Connecting OGWA visitors and JSRS Suppliers was the JSRS e-Connect Web Application which proved highly efficient as well as user-friendly and was very well received by all stake holders as it enabled all JSRS Companies present at the OGWA Expo (exhibitors or visitors) to rightly identify suitable business partners and get connected with each other.

B2B Meetings

During the recently concluded OGWA -18 Expo, over 30 Business to Business meetings took place for the RIYADA companies which were facilitated through JSRS e-Connect. The tool played a pioneering role in effortlessly scheduling B2B meetings and building potential partnerships.

 

Both the participating RIYADA Companies as well as International Participants felt this pioneering initiative businessgateways was very useful to them through meaningful partnership discussions which could next be taken to the next productive level.

 

Presentations

Another highlight of the JSRS RIYADA e-Marketplace were the valuable market insights and experiences, and market information that was shared during Business presentations held on stage by eminent personalities from International & National business organizations.

Business Leaders who presented new initiatives and opportunities to the visitors, to name a few, included Mr. Nidhal Mahar Majid Al Said, Investment Promotion Executive from ITHRAA, Mrs. Sheikha Habib Al Ma’awali from Credit Oman, Padmashri Dr. Rabi Bastia, chairman of Masirah Oil, and Mr. Ahmed Al Barami, ICV Manager from Galfar.
