JSRS is a ‘single-window’ registration and certification system made mandatory by the Ministry of Oil & Gas, Oman. Owing to the success of JSRS in the Oil and Gas Industry, JSRS has expanded to other industries in Oman as JSRS Buyers Community.
JSRS Buyers Community is a structured buyers’ platform for potential buyers across Oman. The Buyers Community includes subsidiaries of Oman Oil and company and more. To name a few Duqm Refinery, Salalah Methanol Company, Oman Tank Terminal Company L.L.C. and Oman International Petrochemical Industries Company.
Oman India Fertiliser Company SAOC (OMIFCO) has been established, as the result of an initiative by the Governments of Oman & India, in order to construct, own and operate a modern world scale two-train ammonia-urea fertiliser manufacturing plant at the Sur Industrial Estate in the Sultanate of Oman.
OMIFCO has requested all its vendors to be JSRS Certified for procurement activities.
